Hi,<br><br>I'm new to geoext and I'm having problem displaying Virtual Earth maps.<br><br>I'm able to load VEMap correctly with plain openlayers (without geoext) but whenever I try with geoext I get an error:<br>
<br><div class="nodeChildBox "><div class="nodeBox "><span class="nodeText editable ">The VE Layer was unable to load correctly.</span></div><span class="nodeText editable ">To get rid of this message, select a new BaseLayer in the layer switcher in the upper-right corner.</span><span class="nodeText editable ">Most likely, this is because the VirtualEarth library script was not correctly included.</span><div class="nodeBox ">
<span class="nodeText editable ">Developers: For help getting this working correctly, </span></div><div class="nodeBox textNodeBox repIgnore "><div class="nodeLabel "><span class="nodeLabelBox repTarget "><<span class="nodeTag ">a</span><span class="nodeAttr editGroup "> <span class="nodeName editable ">target</span>="<span class="nodeValue editable ">_blank</span>"</span><span class="nodeAttr editGroup "> <span class="nodeName editable ">href</span>="<span class="nodeValue editable "><a href="http://trac.openlayers.org/wiki/VirtualEarth">http://trac.openlayers.org/wiki/VirtualEarth</a></span>"</span><span class="nodeBracket editable insertBefore ">></span><span class="nodeText editable ">click here</span></<span class="nodeTag ">a</span>><br>
<br>Despite the fact that the link points to an old VE API, I'm sure everything is correct: I'm able to load and view other layers (Google, OSM and WMS) in the same tree and VE works fine with a similar configuration in another page (plain openlayers without geoext).<br>
<br>Any hint ?<br></span></div></div></div><br>I posted the whole page here:<br><a href="http://pastebin.com/m4742efb7">http://pastebin.com/m4742efb7</a><br><br><br clear="all"><br>-- <br>Alessandro Pasotti<br>w3: <a href="http://www.itopen.it">www.itopen.it</a><br>
