Eric,
Thanks for that blog post. It sounds like Mapfish is going to be somewhat of 
a meta-library. A single, simple way to leverage a number of client & server 
side libraries to rapidly create a high quality application. And that GeoExt 
will at some time in the near future be part of the Mapfish family and over 
time replace the pure client-side GUI portions of Mapfish.
If that is the case, then it clarifies things for me quite a bit. I 
appreciate you taking the time to write that up.
