[Users] Legends with cached tiles

Thanks Ivan,
I'm using GeoServer 2.0-SNAPSHOT + the built-in geowebcache (NIGHTLY,
built 2009-12-04) and the OpenLayer.js from "openlayers.org/api/2.8/"
I should mention the cached layers I'm working with are in a lambert
conformal conic projection, so I had to create a custom geowebcache.xml
file to have the tiles cached in this projection (EPSG:102009).
I couldn't find anything special in the geowewbcache.xml file that
controlled legend creation.
I also tested with some stock world borders and cities data that was in
geowebcache, EPSG:4326, and they didn't appear with legends either.
The names of the visible layers appear in the legendPanel, just no graphic.
When I switch to the geoserver wms instead of the geowebcache wms,
legends appear.
Thanks again,
Ryan
