[Users] GeoExt.LegendPanel and Layergroups

Hi all,

I am trying to implement a GeoExt.LegendPanel as part of my web map
application however I am having problems displaying layer groups from a
tree node in GeoExt.LegendPanel.  A layer from overlays and baselayer
when checked or selected displays their corresponding legend symbol and
name on the LegendPanel but not the group layers. Is it at all possible?
Or is there anyway to assign the legend to tree icons?

If the group layer is set to true for the displayInLayerSwitcher then
grouplayer title shows up with all the layers legend images but not as
individual images with the sublayers names or titles.

Any suggestions?
