gx_layer worked for me, perhaps one of your params (layer, loader) is wrong.

GeoExt.LegendPanel and Layergroups 
Hi all,
How can I display group layers in a legendpanel? I have been trying but it seems 
it only works for only baselayersand overlays and not the grouplayers with 
nodeType: "gx_layer".
Any help or pointers would be welcomed.
