[Users] Get checked node on IE

Hello all,

I'm having troubles on IE only. It seems that layer.attributes.radio.checked
is undefined in IE but not in Firefox , Safari and Chrome. The problem is
that there is no "checked" property/attribute in IE. I was looking for
another property but wasn't able to determine one. How can i get the
selected radio button  in IE??
