[Users] color problem on legendPanel

Usually things like this happen when you have incomplete symbolizers. Try to extend e.g. OpenLayers.Feature.Vector.style["default"] with the symbolizer properties you need.

Otherwise, a bit more context (youre style definition and geometry type at least) would help for list subscribers to see what is wrong.
