[Users] map chooser

I am currently doing something like this. Reading definition of layers I 
want to show in a map from a json file, then creating the map. Have a 
set of links which users can click on to activate the loading scripts.

However, this is quite complicated. A lot of trial and error in 
destroying and adding order. To make it complicated, I am also using a 
tree panel but this simply doesnt play nice with google maps - it stuffs 
the extent and I havent let worked out why.

Be prepared for a lot of work. Happy to share code if you are working on 
it too.
