[Users] Ext.menu.CheckItem on IE8

List,

 

I have built a drop-down menu that works as a series of radio (like) items
and it works just fine in FF and Chrome but in IE8 & IE7 the radio button
does not show against the currently selected element. 

 

I can't find anything about this online so in frustration I send this to
this list.
