Hello, list!

Sorry, this might not be the correct list for the question, but I'm still
wondering if it's a geoext or gxp thing.

Question is - can you point me how to add a layer in GeoExplorer and change
it's opacity progammatically?

I've done that with GeoExt map without any problems, but when I add the same
code to GeoExplorer, the layer doesn't show on a map.
If I'm trying to change opacity of a previously added layer, opacity doesn't
change, until user enters Layer Properties window.
Then the opacity slider goes to the current layer opacity automatically (I
guess it reads this property from a layer) and layer opacity changes on a
map.
Again, if I change the opacity in pure GeoExt map, it works just fine and I
see this change on a map.

Where's the catch? Can anyone point the right way to do it in GeoExplorer?
Thanks.
