[Users] Symbol in layer tree disappears when applying numberFormat in SLD

Hello Bart:

Using GeoServer 2.0.2.

In PostGIS, numeric is an alias for decimal.  Changed the data type had 
not effect.  However, your link to the workaround fixed the issue.  
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Before uploading to PostGIS, I queried out the null data, at least I 
thought I did.  Hmm? I will have to go back and check my syntax as I 
will be loading USGS data for 23 more US States later this week.

Again, thanks so much.  Hope to return the favor sometime.
