I forget to comment that We get coordinates of pushpin and they are added to form in a hidden field. In the same way you could get map extent.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks,

The form is nice, but we need the map extent to be attached somehow to the email. The problem is the map content needs to be checked by the users of the map, and the comments referencing the map need to be sent back to me.

So ideally I need the comments and the map extent to which the comments refer to.

thanks,

Rob

HI Rob,

Maybe I have not fully understood, but We use a form to let user to fill in with information about errors found in cartography, and this form is sent by email to us. Please visit http://www.icc.cat/vissir3/index.html?lang=eng and click over “Notify error” button (in toolbar) and you could try it.

Hi,

I have had a request regarding the ability to print a map and/or send the current map extent per email.

Has anyone had any experience with something like this? It is basically an attempt to allow users of the map to send information directly to us using the map as the reference.

Thanks for any tips,

Rob
