[Users] Openlayers GeoExt race condition / javascript dependency issue in firefox

Hello all -- newb question here:

Does anyone have any tips on avoiding javascript dependency issues between
openlayers and geoext?  This only seems to happen in firefox, but I
consistently get javascript errors about certain GeoExt objects not being
defined.
