[Users] How to put layer definitions into a different script

Hi,

due to the amount of layers which i'm currently putting into a script I would like to define the layers in a separate script outside my app.js script which contains the viewport ext windows etc.

I have tried simply putting the layer definitions into layers.js and loading them before the app.js in the html page, but the layers are loading.

How would I do this? Do they have to be declared somewhere are global variables?
