[Users] Problem with layer tree

Hello everyone!

I have a very nasty problem after using geoext on my application...

Everything was working fine, but then we decided to get a tree into play,
so, we decided to use GeoExt as it looks very powerful for us.

Problem is that now I have the tree working, I can't take the visibility
attribute from active layers as it says the following error:

layer.getVisibility is not a function

The thing is if i just deactivate the libraries and get back to original
LayerSwitcher it works properly...

Does anybody know what could be happening?
