[Users] common name parameter in the tree loader Filter

Hi,

Just a question to clarify really what is in the docs...

...does the treeloader filter use the layers'  "name" ...ie the text string which appears in the tree to filter layers to filter layers and NOT the variable name when defining the layer in javascript code?

So in order to filter layers we have to begin by creating a layer name structure according to theme or region, and then apply the filter!..Are there any workarounds for this?...for example....If I have a layer container which filters my layers so that it contains only the layers which have the word "RROP" in their name and I want to also have a layer which displays something unrelented to the theme "rrop" but important to the geographic location, I would also have to name this particular layer something which contains the string RROP?

Are there other ways to get around this naming convention?  It seems quite restricting. What is the layer were named after people? I would have to find a common string to use in the filter to get them displayed together?  e.g "person: Robert", "person:Richard", "person: John" etc etc

or am I missing the point?

yours,

Rob
