[Users] floating layer tree menu possibility

Hello,

I am working through the tutorials on the GeoExt site.I am working 
towards having a map with a layer tree menu 
(GeoExt.tree.LayerContainer).My question is does anyone know if it is 
possible to make the layer tree menu object floatable over the map.This 
would be something like a dockable window that you can move around over 
the map div portion of the page.Any feedback or tips would be much 
appreciated.
