[Users] RE GeoExt.LayerOpacitySlider event

I found the openlayers map event layerchange, but is there an event on the 
layer?

With geoxt 1 Is there an event when the opacity of a layer is changed with 
GeoExt.LayerOpacitySlider 

When the layer's opacity is changed, I would like to assign the new 
opacity to another layer
