Hello,

Using OpenLayers, there is a “write” method in format.Kml class to create a kml with features from client vector layer.

Hop this helps you.

Tema: [Users] Exporting to GML or KML

Hello,

i'm just searching for a solution to export multilinestrings / linestrings or points into .kml or .gpx format. I'm using geoext 2 with openlayers and geoserver with postgis as geodatabase. At the moment, i don't find a suitable solution to export my track (which is a a collection of line segments as geojson) from the openlayer application to an kml or gpx format.

Is there no function in geoext? I would appreciate any tips or tools/code snippets.

Thanks

Christian
