[Psc] OSGeo Community Project / Budget Request

Hi Marc, Chris,

I believe each community project can request a default budget of $1,000 USD under the Community Projects initiative. We'd need to propose its use on a wiki page.
You probably know most of the people who could be interested in attending, and most contributors seem to be based in Germany.
In terms of timeslot end of May and July are out for me.
Link to previous sprint page from Chris at [1]. A day could be enough for discussions / new release?

Seth

A codesprint is always a good idea, but at least I won't be making it to
Athens. In Bonn we can have a possible sprint o our rooms, we just need
to find a slot and people willing to participate.

All the best,
Marc

As GeoExt is now an OSGeo Community Project I believe we can request a budget if required for 2020 [1]. There are a few "maintainer" issues it would be good to resolve for example:

Perhaps these could be discussed/tackled as part of a codesprint? The OSGeo code sprint in Athens (end of May) is one option, or perhaps a standalone event in Bonn? Either of these could be an option for partial funding from an OSGeo budget.

Any thoughts on making a request?

Regards,

Seth
