[Users] GeoExt 1.0?

To me, it is important to do a thorough API review, as in my opinion we
should guarantee API stability throughout the 1.x series.

Such an API review includes questions like:
* are things named properly? Like, is a config option that can just be a
layerStore called layerStore (and not layers), as opposed to a config
option that can either be an array of layers or a layerStore, in which
case it should be called layers?
* are things consistent with the way they are handled in Ext JS? Like,
are we making use of standard config options like defaults, baseParams,
baseAttrs properly?
* Does our directory structure, the namespacing and the inheritance
paths make sense?

My 2¢
