[Users] zoom to a wms layer

I apologize for all the e-mails and questions, but I need to improve my
webmapping application in few days  :-(

my other question is:

how can I create a control to zoom to the extent of a selected (into a
geoext.tree) wms layer ??

can you suggest me some examples??
