[Users] Invalid pointer exceptions on FF 3.5

I'm having a good experience with GeoExt 0.6 on Safari 4, Chrome, and  
Opera 9, but am hitting a wall with FF 3.5 after adding Ext and GeoExt  
to an app that was working fine with OpenLayers (and my own  
extensions) only. If anyone would be willing to take a peek at

Eric Lemoine told me that the examples on geoext.org are running not  
0.6 but the trunk. I've tried this too to no avail. Is it possible  
that the examples have uncommitted patches?
