[Users] Question about LayerList example

Hello List

Concerning the example http://api.geoext.org/1.0/examples/tree.html

I can't really understande how are the layers loaded into that list. The 
Tree has been created with a treeconfig containing mainly nodeType. Now 
how does the Tree know about the available layers since we didn't pass 
the map/layers as a parameter to the tree?
