[Users] Editing in GeoExt (was: GeoExt 1.0?)

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but since editing tools seem to
be of interest to a few people on here I thought I'd share some
exploratory design work we've doing over here at OpenGeo: http://projects.opengeo.org/geoext/wiki/GeoEditor

Editing is a big project for us—we see a 'third way' between Google
Maps and trying to replace ArcMap/ArcView—and we're trying to
determine how we can get some serious editing capabilities into our
web mapping apps. As you can see from the wireframes above, we've
explored use cases ranging from attribute editing to vector editing to
full on versioning and moderation.

If anyone has any questions or ideas (or interest or progress on
developing capabilities) I'd be curious to hear about it.
