[Users] GeoExt 1.0?

I have to completely agree with Christopher.
My understanding of GeoExt's purpose was to be javascript framework that
provides a bridge between OpenLayers & ExtJS.
GeoExt was supposed to focus on the client-side and be server-side neutral.
I thought MapFish was the packaged web app that was supposed to take the
client side (OL, ExtJS, & GeoExt) and server-side (java, python, ruby) to
create a web based GIS or complex mapping application.

I think the recent focus on editing & printing really beyond the scope of
pure client-side components unless they are done in a way that is truly
server neutral.
